How to get there: Scotchtown, home of Patrick Henry, located at 16120 Chiswell Lane, Beaverdam VA 23015. About 8 miles west of Ashland, off Rt 54. Turn East on Scotchtown Rd, Chiswell Lane is about 1.5 miles ahead on the left. Follow the site signs to the parking area.Please bring:Bring your most comfy outdoor chair, bug repellant, good shade hat, and sunscreen. Some benches are available on the grounds. Bring project work! We will have knitting projects available if you want to participate in group activities. Ample natural shade trees on the grounds and shelter if it showers. We may order box lunches for those who want them, we will have them delivered to the site, we will have water available, but folks may want to bring snacks of pack a picnic lunch.The backup plan is:Picnic pavillion available if it rains.This KIP is not knitting exclusiveThere are free bathrooms available nearby
